Finally, The Main Course.

We woke my younger sister up to dinner! She wasn't too happy about it, since we technically woke her up at six in the morning, EST. Dinner was daeji galbi, or marinated, fire roasted pork with lettuce to wrap it in, rice for the little ones, congealed blood soup with cabbage (it's actually delicious), essence of radish, all your favorite Korean side dishes, sesame leaves, Korean spicy peppers, Korean pepper paste, which goes well with everything, cider, roasted pig skin to wrap up, and shiikhe, which is a very sweet dessert, basically the rice wine making process but stopped right before the sugar from the rice starch turns into alcohol. Tomorrow, our highlight dish is called kokghe or gokghe (I'm not entirely sure on phonetics). It involves a spicy soup and pickled blue crab. Stick around for the photos!
