We made our way to grandpa and grandma's house! My grandparents on my dad's side are farmers, so we were able to enjoy a delicious, mostly home grown, meal with galbi, my grandpa's famously deadly Korean peppers and my grandma's incredible homemade dduk, which is a rice cake lightly powdered with a dry, corn or sesame flour for flavor. Later, I arm-wrestled (and won, surprisingly) my uncle and messed around with my older cousin. Also, as an interesting side note, the miso soup we ate had river snails in them. They were delicious! The first picture is me tearing up with a runny nose and my grandpa laughing really hard. His peppers are deadly. Don't eat them unless you're mentally prepared!
