This was one of the more stranger combinations I'd eaten here so far. A professor who helped secure my dad's income while he was in graduate school offered to buy us dinner when we stopped by, so he treated us to Thai Korean food. The taste was very similar to Viet dishes, full of seafood and fragrant vegetables. My sisters love pho, so the main course, rice noodles in beef broth, was the perfect fit! The rest of the meal consisted of seasoned rice porridge, spring rolls, a sautéed, saucy vegetable/fish dish, classic tonkatsu (fried pork with a zesty sauce) and curry fried rice. A very different flavor, indeed!
I'm reading this instead of eating breakfast. I'm so jealous! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
